Lesson Program Information & Policy

All professional music instructors must enforce their lesson policies in order to earn a living. Lesson times are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Your lesson time is reserved for you and only you. Music teachers do not get "walk-ins."

• Length of Session: Private lessons are scheduled one session per week at 30 minutes per session, recurring until cancellation.
• Rate: The lesson fee is $18 per session paid monthly. Some months will have four (4) weeks and others five (5). Please pay accordingly.
• Payment: Lesson payment is one month in advance to the front counter, directly, in the form of cash or check only. Payment is due at the first lesson of each months. Checks are to be made out to the teacher. Receipts are provided.
• Cancellations
  • Student: An excused lesson is one that is cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. That lesson may be made up at the convenience of the teacher and student, however, this may not exceed more than six (6) make-up lessons per year.
  • Teacher: Teachers are required to make up or credit lesson they have to cancel.
  • Weather: In case of poor weather conditions, call R&R Music or check the main page of our website. If the store is open and your teacher is present, all regular policies will be in effect. If the store has to close, that lesson may be deducted from the month.
  • Holidays: There are no lessons on holidays in which the store is not open. We will post notices on our website and the front door as well as other places around the store.
